Ceramic Coating

Paint Protection That Lasts Years, Not Weeks

A wax gives you a month or two. A ceramic coating bonds to your clear coat and holds the gloss, the water beading and the easy washing for years.

We coat in your own garage, anywhere in Oakland County — Pontiac, Bloomfield Hills, Birmingham, Auburn Hills, Waterford, Troy. A coating has to cure somewhere clean and dry, so a garage is the one thing we need from you. Everything else we bring.

How It Works

The Coating Is the Last Step, Not the Job

A coating locks in whatever your paint looks like the day it goes on. Seal in swirl marks and you are looking at them for the next five years. That is why correction comes first, and it is the real difference between the tiers below.

Decontamination wash, then iron and tar removal to strip what a normal wash leaves behind
Paint inspected panel by panel under direct light, so we both know what we are starting with
Machine correction to the level your tier covers — swirls, water spots and etching polished out
Panels wiped down so nothing sits between the coating and your clear coat
Coating applied by hand, one panel at a time, and leveled as it flashes
Left to cure in your garage, with exact instructions on when it can get wet

Questions

Answered Straight

How long does it take?

Six to eight hours for the work itself, depending on the size and condition of the vehicle. The coating then needs 24 to 72 hours to cure before it can get wet, so your car stays in the garage overnight.

Why does it have to be in a garage?

A coating cures chemically, and dust, pollen or rain landing on it while it does will ruin the finish. It needs to stay dry in there for 24 to 72 hours after it goes on, depending on the tier. A closed garage is the one thing we cannot bring with us.

Does this mean I never have to wash it again?

No. It means washing gets easier and dirt stops staining the paint. A coating that never gets maintained stops performing — anyone who tells you otherwise is selling.

Will it get my scratches out?

The correction before it will, to the level your tier covers. Deep scratches you can catch a fingernail in are through the clear coat and cannot be polished out — we will say so before you pay for anything.

What does the warranty actually cover?

Premium is the tier where our warranty starts. If there is a problem with the coating itself, we come back and treat it again — we handle reasonable issues rather than making you argue over paperwork.

What if I need to reschedule?

48 hours notice is free. Less than that and a $25 reschedule fee applies. If we have to move it on our end, we get you another day that week at no charge.

Where do you work?

Pontiac, Bloomfield Hills, Birmingham, Auburn Hills, Waterford, West Bloomfield, Rochester Hills, Troy, Clarkston and across Oakland County.
